A League Grand Final 2018

In the  A-Leagues inaugural year, finals night did not disappoint. With anyone in the top 8 capable of beating anyone in the top 8 on any given night there was always going to be some great darts, great tussles, maybe the odd shock but a top result at the end of it all and with a bit of history on the line in being the maiden winner of this new league and with an invite straight through to next years Premier League up for grabs it was all to play for.

The final 8 to battle it out in order from position 1 through to position 8 was:

Steve Robertson
Ossie Ford
Anton Soc
Matt Moody
Mitch Clark
Jakim Dickson
Matt Dorotich
Justin Sambell

Quarter Final 1 Steve Robertson defeated Justin Sambell 5/0
Quarter Final 2 Matt Dorotich defeated Ossie Ford 5/1
Quarter Final 3 Matt Moody defeated Mitch Clark 5/2
Quarter Final 4 Jakim Dickson defeated Anton Soc 5/3

Semi Final 1 Matt Moody defeated Steve Robertson 6/4
Semi Final 2 Jakim Dickson defeated Matt Dorotich 6/1

The Grand Final was an epic battle with Jakim Dickson and Matt Moody trading dart for dart, leg for leg in a best of 13 match and in continuing on with some of his absolute best darts of the season and a 4 shot, 130 checkout final leg, it was Jakim Dickson to come out on top over Matt Moody with a handy 74.46 average and a 7/5 win
