Well another home and away season is done and dusted and we are into the finals series. You will see last nights results and the ladder further down in this post but firstly, here are the details for the finals series:

FDDA Premier League Week 17

Kim Lewis was in fine form on week 17 with 3 wins out of 3 and an overall average of 89.66. The highlight being his 100.03 average in his 6-1 win against Mick, which included a peg of 106 and two 180’s. Further wins against Joe and Steve, saw him drop just 4 legs all night and add 6 points to his ladder total. Two wins for Lewis from 3 played gave him 4 points, his only defeat by Mick was an excellent game between the two, Mick 92.31 with pegs of 125 and 114 saw him run out the winner 6-3 with Lewis registering the highest finish of the night a 136 out and a 90.09 average in that match.  Some other big pegs from Pete 131, Steve 118 and Kim with a 100 out.

FDDA Premier League Week 18

97.18 overall was the highest average of week 18 from Timmy ‘the gun’, the pick of his two games was his 103.66 in a 6-0 win against Steve. Winning in just 29 shots and a 106 peg out. Two wins for Brad keep him in 1st place on the ladder, 82.87 for the night and a peg of 108. Steve came from 5-3 down to grab a point against Joe and Matt against Mick also ended all square at 5-5. Highest peg of week 18 went to Matt with a 131 out shot.

FDDA Premier League Week 19

For the second week in a row it was the in form Tim Pusey leading the way in the averages with 93.85 for the night from his 3 games played. Just the four points from a possible 6 though as a 95.52 average and 4 180’s was not enough to stop the legend Kim Lewis who ran out a 6-4 winner with a 98.62 ave, great game lads. Kim also registered a 107 peg and 2 180’s in the game. Kim won his second game of the night against Lewis and finished with a 91.44 for the evening and 4 points. Steve had a fantastic 164 peg the highest of the season so far in his defeat by Matt. Mick had a good win against Dave 6-2 where he showed some clinical finishing to take the points. Other pegs on the night, Dave 124, Lewis 115, Tim 112, Mick & Kim 107. Total 180’s on the night was 15 with Tim hitting the most with 6.

Catch Up Week One 26.07

With the WA State representatives away, catch up week one was an opportunity to play some of the missed fixtures from earlier on in the season. It was a busy night for Damo and Graham with both players playing 4 games on the night. Damo was telling us all he was ‘rusty’ from not being able to play due to work commitments, 6 180’s, 142 out the highest of the night, 4 wins and 85.84 for the night overall, not bad! Lewis and Graham played out an entertaining draw, Graham winning the last three legs and Lewis with outs of 108 and 117. Lewis winning his other game against Matt to take 3 points and undefeated on the night. A win for Dave against Graham after being 3-0 down, finished 6-4 in a tight affair, with just 0.7 difference in the their averages. Dave lost his second game of the evening with a reverse of his first game score, going down 6-4 to Damo in a good game, both players averaging in the high 80’s. 11 180’s and some other notable pegs from Matt 120, Damo 107 to add to the 142, Graham 107 and Dave 100.

Kim and Mick led the averages in week 16 with 91.98 (Kim) and 86.88 (Mick) as both players finished the night unbeaten. Dave and Brad were also unbeaten on the night which included a 5-5 draw between the two as both players registered 5 points from 3 games played. Following on from last week the standard was high with plenty of 100+ finishes and 180’s.

Kim and Peter played out a 5-5 draw with averages of 94.38 & 88.24 respectively, great game lads over 10 legs. Lewis came from 4-1 down against Graham to win 6-4 with an average of 92.79 including a 107 peg. Mick registered two wins, 6-3 v Graham and 6-2 against Steve and pegs of 121 & 119. Kim had a 109 peg and 4 x 180’s in a 6-1 win against Matt, the score line a little harsh on Matt as the game was much closer than the final score suggested, Kimmy hitting the big scores at key times being the difference.
